Lee Boardman

Lee Boardman (born 2 July 1972) is an English actor and narrator whose career spans more than two decades of diverse performances across television, film, and documentary narration. Born in Stockport, England, he first honed his craft at Stockport College before earning a coveted scholarship to the Oxford School of Drama, an opportunity that laid the foundation for his later success. His breakthrough came with the BBC comedy‑drama Drop Dead Gorgeous, where his portrayal of Murray Priestman earned the series a Best Comedy Drama award at the British Comedy Awards in 2008. Boardman's versatility is evident in his gritty turn as drug dealer Jez Quigley on the long‑running soap Coronation Street, as well as his historical role as Timon the Jew in the acclaimed series Rome. He further expanded his oeuvre with appearances in the fantasy adventure Jack the Giant Slayer and the romantic comedy Love's Kitchen, while also lending his voice to the popular Sky 1 police documentary series Road Wars and its spin‑off Street Wars. In 2014, he took on the recurring part of Amerigo Vespucci in the myth‑reimagining Da Vinci's Demons, demonstrating his ability to inhabit complex characters across genres.
