Kyle Gallner

Kyle Steven Gallner was born on October 22, 1986 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He started his acting career in the year 2000 and gained recognition for his noteworthy roles in various television series including Bart Allen in the superhero series Smallville (2004–2009), Cassidy 'Beaver' Casablancas in the mystery drama series Veronica Mars (2005–2006), and Reed Garrett in the police drama series CSI: NY (2006–2010). Gallner was highly recognized for his work in the horror genre during the 2010s, earning him the title of a 'scream king'. He starred in impactful horror films such as The Haunting in Connecticut, Jennifer's Body (both 2009), the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake (2010), Red State (2011), Scream (2022), and the Smile franchise (2022–2024). Apart from horror, Gallner also appeared in diverse films including Dear White People, American Sniper (both 2014), Welcome to Happiness (2015), Dinner In America (2020), The Passenger, and Strange Darling (both 2023).

Gallner was born to parents Larry and Mary Jane Gallner and has three siblings. He developed his interest in acting following his sister to one of her auditions. Gallner has been guest-starred on popular shows such as Judging Amy and Close to Home. He joined the cast of Veronica Mars towards the end of the show's first season and became a regular during the show's second season. Gallner also played the lead role in The Haunting in Connecticut playing a cancer patient who is tormented by evil spirits. He performed in the independent film Cherry and an episode of AMC's The Walking Dead. He was cast as Vince Schneider in the fifth Scream film, which was released in January 2022. In his personal life, Gallner married Tara Ferguson on December 12, 2015, and the couple have two sons.
