Jefri Nichol

Jefri Nichol (born 15 January 1999) is an Indonesian actor and model who rose to national prominence after starring in the romantic drama Dear Nathan (2017). Born in Jakarta to a Minangkabau father and a mother from Sungai Geringging, Padang Pariaman, he grew up as the eldest child and later welcomed a younger sister, Jessie Putri. His early education took place at SMK Tunas Jakasampurna where he majored in technology, but a demanding filming schedule forced him to switch to home schooling to balance his studies and burgeoning career. Nichol entered the entertainment world in 2013 as a advertising model before landing his first acting role in the television miniseries Kami Rindu Ayah, quickly establishing himself as a versatile young talent. In 2017 he made his feature‑film debut as Elzan in At Stake and later that year secured the lead role of Nathan in Dear Nathan, a performance that cemented his status as a teen idol and earned him a devoted fan base across Indonesia. Beyond acting, he has appeared in numerous web series, television films, and music videos, showcasing a range of genres from romance to comedy, and continues to expand his repertoire with projects such as Tersanjung (2020) and Diet Ekstrem Bucin Sejati (2021).
