He carved his niche with his poignant portrayals of Michael Bluth in Fox/Netflix sitcom Arrested Development (2003-2019) and Marty Byrde in the Netflix crime drama series Ozark (2017–2022). Bateman also co-hosts the popular podcast SmartLess with Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. Known for his comedy films, he is the proud recipient of numerous awards, including Golden Globe Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
