Garrett Hedlund

Garrett John Hedlund is an American-born actor, model, singer, recognized for his roles in various popular films and his musical contributions. Born on September 3, 1984 in Roseau, Minnesota, Hedlund made his way into the film industry and gained prominence with his films such as 'Troy', 'Friday Night Lights', 'Tron: Legacy', 'Mudbound', and 'The Marsh King's Daughter'. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue his acting career and soon began modeling for L.L. Bean and Teen Magazine. He then made his acting debut in the 2004 film 'Troy' where he played Patroclus.

As his career progressed, Hedlund showcased his versatility, ranging from portraying a villain in 'Death Sentence' to the main protagonist in 'Tron: Legacy'. Moreover, he has been part of an international co-production for the film 'Eragon' and has lent his voice for its game adaption. His performance in 'Country Strong' resulted in critical acclaim, and his duet with Leighton Meester from the same film charted on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2011, Hedlund was named 'Man of the Year' at the Glamour Awards.
