He also co-created 'Rescue Me' (2004–2011), a popular series for which he was nominated for two Primetime Emmys. Leary's performances include voice-over work like Francis in 'A Bug's Life' and Diego in the 'Ice Age' franchise. In addition to his acting accomplishments, Leary wrote and starred in the FX comedy series 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll' from 2015 to 2016. His origins trace back to Worcester, Massachusetts, where he was born to Irish immigrant parents. He attended Emerson College in Boston, where he established the Emerson Comedy Workshop and later taught comedy-writing classes. His works have extended beyond just entertainment, with notable contributions to fundraising through the Leary Firefighters Foundation, which he founded in response to a fatal fire incident in his hometown. Leary has truly established himself as a dynamic force in American television, film, and philanthropy.
