Claire Danes

Born April 12, 1979, Claire Catherine Danes is a prominent American actress who has significantly contributed to both the film and television industry. Winning three Primetime Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards, she gained recognition and fame in her teens and has been listed among the 100 most influential people in the world. Her first lead role was in the 1994 teen drama series My So-Called Life, for which she received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy nomination. Since then, she has participated in numerous films and television series, such as the romance Romeo + Juliet (1996), Shopgirl (2005), Stardust (2007), and made her Broadway debut in 2007 with Pygmalion. From 2011 to 2020, she consistently appeared on the Showtime drama series Homeland, earning two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. As of 2022, she stars in the FX on Hulu series Fleishman Is in Trouble.

Claire Danes started her artistic journey studying dance at the tender age of six and later shifted her focus to acting. She has had a successful acting career ever since her youth, starring in the Dudley Moore TV sitcom pilot called Dudley at age thirteen. She has appeared in diverse films such as the animated feature English version of Princess Mononoke, noir U Turn, and the well-acclaimed The Hours (2002).
