Brian Stepanek

Brian Stepanek (born Brian Patrick Stepanek on 6 February 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American actor whose career has spanned television, film, and voice‑over work for more than two decades. After graduating from Gilmour Academy in 1989, he pursued higher education at Syracuse University, where he honed his comedic timing and began performing in regional theatre. Stepanek broke into the national spotlight in 2000 when he was cast as the eccentric inventor Arwin Hochhauser on Disney Channel’s hit sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, a role that earned him a devoted fan base and a recurring appearance in the series’ spin‑off The Suite Life on Deck. Simultaneously, he appeared in Michael Bay’s blockbuster Transformers (2007) as a Sector Seven agent, demonstrating his versatility in both family‑friendly comedies and high‑budget action pictures. His early film credits also include the sci‑fi thriller The Island (2005) and a cameo as a bank manager in the direct‑to‑DVD sequel Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. In addition to on‑screen acting, Stepanek has cultivated an extensive voice‑over résumé, lending his distinctive tone to characters such as Roger the lion in Father of the Pride, Martin in Disney’s Bolt (2008), and multiple roles in the animated feature Home (2015). Since 2016 he has been the vocal pillar of the Loud family, portraying Lynn Loud Sr. on Nickelodeon’s acclaimed series The Loud House and its live‑action adaptation The Really Loud House, where he also appears physically. His television work continued with a four‑year stint as Tom Harper, the loving father of quadruplets on Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (2014‑2018). Off camera, Stepanek has been married to Parisa Stepanek since 2002, and together they raise three children. Balancing family life with a demanding schedule, he remains an active figure in the entertainment industry, routinely appearing in guest spots, commercials, and new animated projects, underscoring his enduring appeal across generations.
