He also lent his voice to the character Alex Mercer in the video game Prototype, and Corporal Dunn in the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Pepper was born in Campbell River, British Columbia, the youngest of three boys. His childhood adventures sailing through the South Pacific islands with his family for five years and his education through correspondence courses and public schools in Polynesia moulded his character. After this journey, his family returned to Canada and settled down in Denman Island. He graduated from Georges P. Vanier Secondary School in 1988 and then attended Camosun College, studying marketing and design, thanks to an artistic achievement scholarship. He then moved to Vancouver to study acting, highlighting his four-year stint at Gastown Actors Studio.
