Angeli Bayani

Angeli Bayani (born November 13, 1977) is a renowned Filipino actress, well-known for her roles in Philippine art-house and independent films. Her acting skill has gained significant recognition particularly with her performances in Lav Diaz's films such as Melancholia (2008), Century of Birthing (2011), and Norte, the End of History (2013). For her exceptional performance in Norte, the End of History, Angeli was awarded the prestigious 2014 Gawad Urian Award for Best Actress. Expanding her global presence, she also appeared in the Camera d'Or-winning Singaporean film, Ilo Ilo in 2013, directed by Anthony Chen.
