**Andrew Havill** (born 1 June 1965) is a seasoned British actor with an expansive portfolio of over 40 films and 50 plays, initiated in the late 1980s. His initial steps in drama unfolded in Oxford and London, making his career debut in repertory theatre in 1989 and his screen debut in 1993. Appreciated for his versatility, Havill's most memorable impressions remain in numerous British costume dramas. Havill's educational journey saw him at the University of Exeter, studying English and drama. His theatre experience traces back to the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain with a reserve of roles in renowned productions spanning the Shaw Theatre, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and the Drum Theatre Plymouth. His association with Royal Shakespeare Company also constitutes an integral part of his acting provenance. Havill's engagement with television kicked off in Lucy Gannon's Soldier Soldier in 1993, gradually segueing into Lynda La Plante's drama series and various mini-series. His roles exhibited a striking range from Manet on _The Impressionists_ to Chief Steward in the holiday special episode for _Doctor Who_. His film debut in 1995 was followed by varied roles in films like _The King's Speech_, _The Iron Lady_, and _Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker_. In 2023, Havill also made his imprint in the gaming industry, giving voice to Sylvestre Lesage in _Final Fantasy XVI_.
