Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Jayne Milano is an American actress and activist, famous for her roles in numerous TV series such as Who's the Boss?, Melrose Place, and Charmed. She won widespread popularity following her portrayal of Samantha Micelli in Who's the Boss?, Jennifer Mancini in Melrose Place, and Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed. As an activist, Milano is best known for her role in the MeToo movement.

Born on December 19, 1972, in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of New York City's Brooklyn borough, she began her career at a tender age of seven. She was one of the four selected from over 1,500 girls for the national touring company of Annie. In the late 1990s, she explored roles that starkly contrasted her 'nice girl' image by appearing in erotic movies confining her to adult audiences. Apart from her significant screen presence, Milano has also made significant contributions as an activist, best recognized for her active participation in the MeToo movement in 2017.
