Seth brings her father Odong, a stroke victim, to Manang Elsa for healing. After they arrive, she sees a man in line being carried inside after collapsing, signaling the healer's urgent reach. The moment marks the start of a miraculous sequence that unsettles her community.

Odong healed; Jed seeks to help Cookie

The following day Odong is fully healed, astonishing Seth. Jed, her estranged son, asks his mother to take his half-sister Cookie to Elsa for glomerulonephritis, though Seth initially resists. Eventually she relents and provides the address.

Party and mass healing by Elsa

At a party celebrating Odong's recovery, villagers come to Elsa with various ailments: Alma's foot growth, Ding's psoriasis, Chona's goiter, Greta's lump, and Cacai's blindness. Elsa cures all of them, restoring hope to the neighborhood. On the way home, Seth runs into Jed and Cookie as they head toward Elsa.

Chona's death and crow dream revelation

A few days after the healing, Chona is invited to Ding's wedding reception but goes home instead. Soon after, she is found dead, having stabbed a bystander and slashed her own neck. At her wake, Rex tells Seth that Chona had seen a crow in her dream, a motif echoed by others.

Dodi's gym carnage and curse speculation

The following day, news reports that Dodi, a patient of Elsa, goes on a killing spree at a gym and holds his partner hostage before killing himself with a broken piece of glass. The incident triggers speculation that Elsa's cures have unleashed a curse. The community debates the consequences of the healing.

Greta's home tragedy

That night, Greta appears in her home and, after twisting her neck backward, stabs her husband Ruben and then harms her sons. She eventually hangs herself. The family's tragedy intensifies the sense that something supernatural is at play.

Ding's shooting spree

The next day, Ding goes on a shooting spree and is shot by colleagues during a raid on a sex den. The violence widens the fear around Elsa's healing and the unleashed alter-egos.

Doppelgangers revealed

Seth learns that the people healed by Elsa are being demonized by doppelgangers, while she learns from her father that he did not dream of the crow but had a wet dream. The revelation reframes the entire sequence of healings as cursed manifestations.

Elsa's past and Dario exposed

Seth and Cita confront Elsa, and Melchor reveals that Elsa and his wife were killed by Dario—who collapsed at the moment Seth and Odong left the healing session. Elsa unknowingly cured the dead, and the life used to resurrect him now feeds the curse. Melchor explains that the only way to end it is to kill Dario again.

Alma's possession and self-immolation

Seth warns others; Alma's doppelganger walks toward her dorm, and Alma goes on a killing spree before setting herself on fire. These events deepen the sense that the doppelgangers are closing in and threatening innocents.

Cacai at the Daoist temple

Cita moves Cacai to a Daoist temple for safety, but Cacai becomes possessed by a doppelganger and massacres the monks with a ceremonial axe, then impales herself on a flagpole. The horror expands beyond the city to sacred spaces.
