Gopanna falls for Kamala and faces familial opposition

In Nelakondapalli, Kancherla Gopanna falls in love with his cousin Kamala. On Kamala's birthday, he gifts a parrot in good faith, but Kamala's father Agnihotraavadhanlu disapproves due to Gopanna's status and wealth. Astrologers warn that a marriage with Kamala could lead to imprisonment for the couple.

Madanna & Akkanna back Gopanna and he becomes Tehsildar
