Priyadarshini, commonly known as Priya, is a homemaker who is actively searching for a new job to improve her family’s situation. She lives in a close-knit community with her husband Anthony and their young daughter Kani. The story unfolds in a neighborhood where Priya shares a friendly bond with her neighbor Stephy, a single mother, and details a series of intriguing events that turn their lives upside down.

The plot takes a mysterious turn when Manuel, played by Basil Joseph, moves into the area. He operates Grace Bakers, a family business run by his father, and resides with his elderly mother Grace. Despite his seemingly friendly nature and good rapport with the neighbors, Priya begins to suspect Manuel of shady intentions. Her suspicions deepen when she witnesses him killing a monitor lizard and later feeding it as part of a party under the pretense of serving beef to guests. It is hinted that Manuel might be involved in criminal activities, with his plans seemingly coordinated with his uncle Roy and Dr. John, played by Sidharth Bharathan.

The community’s atmosphere grows tense during a celebration for Priya and Anthony’s wedding anniversary, which coincides with a minor fire caused by a clothes iron left unattended in Manuel’s house. During this event, Grace mysteriously goes missing, sparking police involvement. The authorities later locate Grace at a railway station—where they uncover that she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. However, Priya becomes skeptical, as she has always observed Grace performing her daily routines precisely and believes her condition might be misdiagnosed. Priya shares her doubts with her friends Sulu and Asma, raising questions about Grace’s true health.

Meanwhile, Stephy develops a close bond with Manuel and offers to help take care of Grace one day while he’s away. Manuel prepares sedated mango juice for Grace and Stephy, following John’s advice, to facilitate their plan. As part of this scheme, Roy waits outside to abduct Grace once she and Stephy are unconscious, but Priya, concerned, visits Grace herself and uncovers the scheme. Recognizing the danger, Priya urges Manuel to find a caretaker urgently, thus clearing the way for Roy to secretly take Grace away. When Stephy succumbs to sedation, Roy stealthily drives Grace away in his car, claiming she has gone missing once again.

Adding to the turmoil, Manuel’s elder sister Diana, who has come from New Zealand, arrives in an attempt to assist with the chaos and prepare to sell their land, frustrated by the stalled police investigation. Before her departure, Priya manages to arrange her contact, which becomes crucial later. That very night, Priya is startled to see Grace back in their house, but Manuel insists she is still missing, deepening Priya’s suspicions.

Priya, increasingly uneasy, secretly sneaks into Manuel’s house during his absence to gather evidence. She enlists Sulu and Asma’s help to watch for any unexpected visitors. When Dr. John notices Priya climbing the walls, he panics and promptly alerts Manuel. Manuel rushes home, catches Priya in the act, and warns her to stay away from his affairs. Meanwhile, John is shown disposing of Grace’s supposed remains by pouring aqua regia into the toilet, but Manuel notices a reddish damp patch on the wall that could be blood. He disguises it with paint and sacks to hide the evidence, further fueling Priya’s suspicions.

Despite her doubts, Manuel now claims to have brought Grace back home, leading to a temporary respite from suspicion among the neighbors. Priya, however, becomes more determined to uncover the truth. She contacts Diana again and secretly investigates her online presence, discovering that Diana is a lesbian engaged in a relationship with Aditi Thyagarajan, with intentions to adopt a child in New Zealand. Aditi, worried about Diana’s sudden disappearance, arrives in India. Priya tries to warn her about Manuel, but Manuel manipulates the situation by pretending to be Diana through text messages, preventing Priya from intervening.

On the day of her second interview, Priya reviews Diana’s social media and confirms her relationship with Aditi. She contacts Aditi to warn her about Manuel’s manipulative plans. Before she can escape, Manuel kidnaps Priya, influenced by Grace, who is revealed to be the mastermind behind the entire plot. Priya, desperate to escape, abandons her job interview and calls Aditi, but Manuel sedates Priya and takes her away once again. During her captivity, Priya discovers that the sample she collected from the suspicious patch on the wall contains human bone cells from her biologist friend, providing critical evidence.

Priya tracks Manuel and his accomplices to their bakery, where she informs the police. However, before authorities arrive, Manuel spots Priya and attempts to attack her. She manages to fight back by crashing her car into him and also subdues John, rescuing Aditi. A shocking revelation emerges in a flashback, revealing that Manuel, Roy, and John had murdered Diana to cover their shame due to her sexuality. Grace is ultimately revealed as the true perpetrator of honor killings, exposing the dark secrets lurking in their seemingly normal community.

The entire neighborhood is shaken as the truth comes to light. Manuel, Grace, Roy, and John are arrested by the police, bringing closure to a tumultuous series of events. The story sheds light on themes of deception, family secrets, and societal taboos, ultimately revealing how much can be hidden beneath the surface of ordinary lives.
