Jack Grimaldi is a dedicated NYPD homicide detective who seemingly has it all—an extravagant lifestyle, a strikingly beautiful wife named Natalie, and a young mistress named Sheri. He performs favors for the notorious Mafia boss Don Falcone, receiving hefty cash bribes in return.

Jack’s latest assignment plunges him deeper into the criminal underworld: he is tasked with uncovering the whereabouts of Nick Gazarra, a mobster turned federal witness under the protection of law enforcement. The plot thickens when Gazarra, along with his detail, falls victim to the ruthless hitwoman Mona Demarkov.
