The Military Experiment

Curt and his girlfriend Julie discover a hidden military base where Curt's father, Colonel John Reynolds, is involved in a shocking experiment. They witness a reanimation experiment using 2-4-5 Trioxin gas, intended to create combat zombies.

The Zombies Unleashed

The military quickly realizes that the zombies they aimed to control are far more dangerous than anticipated. As their hunger for human brains becomes evident, chaos ensues within the lab.

In a desperate attempt to control the situation, Lt. Col. Sinclair suggests a method to attach zombies to exoskeletons. However, Colonel Reynolds pushes for a chemical solution called 'paretic infusion' to freeze the zombies' brains temporarily.

Tragic Lab Incident

During a demonstration of the paretic infusion, the procedure fails, leading to the brutal death of a scientist at the hands of a revived zombie. This incident catalyzes chaos, leading to a wider outbreak among the staff.

Reassignment and Escape

After the outbreak, Curt is reassigned to Oklahoma City while Sinclair takes command of the project. However, Curt refuses to stay quiet and, along with Julie, decides to flee the chaos surrounding them.

Julie’s Tragic Accident

While riding his motorcycle with Julie, a moment of distraction leads to a horrific accident. Julie is thrown against a telephone pole, resulting in her instant death and leaving Curt devastated.

Desperate Resurrection

In a desperate act of love, Curt returns Julie's lifeless body to the military base. Utilizing his stolen key card, he accesses Trioxin gas to resurrect her, but their reunion is fraught with unexpected horror.

Hunger Strikes

After a brief moment of reanimation, Julie's primal hunger takes over. This compels her and Curt to venture out for food, leading to an encounter with a gang that amplifies the dangers they face.

Riverman's Refuge

Curt and Julie find refuge in the sewers with a vagrant known as Riverman. He provides shelter but soon becomes an unwitting participant in their tragic tale of survival and transformation.

While hiding, Julie discovers that self-inflicted pain can suppress her insatiable cravings. This leads to brutal self-mutilation, transforming her into a more fearsome being adorned with spikes and glass.

The Gang Confrontation

When the gang discovers their hiding place, Julie uses her new abilities to seduce and kill their leader. The violent confrontation leaves a trail of bloodshed and reveals Julie's escalating transformation.

Riverman’s Fate

As Julie grows more acclimated to her pain, she turns on Riverman in a shocking act of violence. His death marks a turning point as Julie’s humanity fades further into darkness.
