At the farmhouse, Nirosha makes a desperate call to her mother, pleading for money, and Ram nonchalantly opens a chest overflowing with cash, declaring that all of it now belongs to Nirosha. This moment raises the stakes dramatically, as the couple’s fragile private world begins to fracture under the weight of deceit. Meanwhile, Lata watches events unfold from afar, and her awareness grows when she catches a glimpse of Nagpur’s flooded landscape on the news and she tries to reach Ram to verify his safety. The tension intensifies when Nirosha reveals she is two months pregnant, a discovery that fills Ram with conflicting emotions—excitement at becoming a father for the first time and a troubling lure toward a life he has kept hidden.

In the farmhouse, the quiet murmur of ordinary life is broken by a moral crisis. Govind, the loyal servant, played by [Ambrish Saxena], overhears the conversations and silently bears witness to the unraveling affair. Nirosha’s insistence that Ram leave Lata and marry her intensifies the drama. She warns that if Ram refuses to publicly acknowledge their relationship, she will abort the child, a threat that weighs heavily on the fragile situation. Ram, caught between his public life and private desire, refuses to reveal the affair to Lata, hoping to manage the matter in silence. A tense phone call between Ram and Nirosha is interrupted, and the two resume a fraught, dangerous dynamic on the farmhouse terrace. A playful moment quickly turns catastrophic when Ram loses his balance and falls, sustaining serious injuries.

Connectivity failures compound the crisis. Nirosha’s attempts to summon help—first for Govind, then for an ambulance—fail because of poor signal, leaving her with few options. Desperation drives her to seek help from Lata, who answers the call and realizes the gravity of the situation. Lata, despite her anger and sense of betrayal, decides to go to the farmhouse to tend to her husband herself. In her haste, she leaves her phone behind, and she does not inform her maid before departing, a narrative choice that will later weigh on the investigation.

Upon reaching the farmhouse, Lata and Nirosha confront each other in a charged drawing-room scene. Lata labels Nirosha a call girl who is chasing her husband’s money, while Nirosha insists that Ram loves her and wants a future with her. The two women clash as the truth begins to emerge in the form of whispered confidences and chilling revelations. The emotional toll of the revelation shatters Lata, who agrees to divorce Ram but remains torn by the moral weight of the situation. Nirosha, in return, reveals a disturbing history: last month she visited Lata’s clinic for an abortion, and Lata herself had encouraged her to keep the child, a claim that adds layers of shock to the already fragile trust between husband and wife. In a moment of painful resolve, Lata asks Nirosha to prepare coffee while she confronts her own fears and heartbreak. Then, with a heavy heart, Lata slips away from the farmhouse to return home, but not before taking decisive steps to protect her own image and future: she removes the CCTV camera from the house’s front and disposes of it, and she disables parts of her car by disconnecting some wires, effectively rendering the vehicle inoperable.

When Ram’s body is discovered, the police zero in on Nirosha as the primary suspect. Nirosha tells the authorities that Lata had been with her all night, but she cannot prove it. The testimonies of Lata’s maid alongside the absence of any concrete proof of Lata leaving the house cast doubt on the doctor’s involvement, while the state of Ram’s mansion and the weather conditions appear to support Lata’s alibi. Yet the case begins to tilt in the opposite direction as Govind returns to the farmhouse and denies having seen Lata that night. With the rain-soaked evidence of the broken plates, the money stash in Nirosha’s bag, and Nirosha’s pregnancy, the balance of proof shifts toward a grim conclusion: the investigation reveals that Ram refused to marry Nirosha, and in a moment of rage and desperation, Nirosha pushed him off the terrace and ultimately suffocated him.

The case culminates with Nirosha being convicted for the murder of Ram Verma, while Lata, having navigated a labyrinth of suspicion and self-preservation, receives a clean chit based on the contradictory clues and the lack of a verifiable trail proving her presence at the farmhouse during the critical hours.
