In the not-too-distant future, a die-hard doomsday prepper named Marcus King has spent years tracking every variable that could threaten civilization. He, along with his son Geoff King, watches the skies and discovers a massive, planet-threatening meteor racing toward Earth, with a likely collision course for a nuclear reactor. Time is short, and Marcus quickly mobilizes a small, tightly trained group. Most manage to reach a former missile silo turned into a bunker before impact, including Geoff and his daughter Melissa King, but neither her boyfriend Caden nor Marcus himself make it into the shelter.
