During a night shift at the Unicorn factory, Dev Prakash informs his friend Gaurav More that he has proposed marriage to Shalu, and that she has accepted. Soon after, the company’s robot malfunctions and kills Dev, and the case is dismissed as an accident while safety officer Faridi Baig is fired from the company.
Six months later, during Unicorn’s 50th anniversary celebrations, Jayant Arkhedkar is promoted to the board and becomes engaged to Nikki Adhikari. The festivities take a darker turn when he is shown to be having an affair with Monica Machado. Monica reveals to Jayant that she is pregnant and tries to blackmail him. Soon after, Jayant receives a letter with photos of him and Monica, inviting him to meet at a hotel.
At the hotel, he encounters Arvind Manivannan (the CFO) and Nishikant Adhikari, Satyanarayan Adhikari’s son and Unicorn’s managing director, who also claim to have been blackmailed by Monica. The three hatch a plan to murder Monica, with Nishikant killing her, Jayant transporting the body, and Arvind disposing of it. To secure themselves, Nishikant has them sign a contract as a failsafe in case anyone wavers. The plan nearly derails when Arvind and Jayant cross paths with a leopard while trying to dump the body, forcing a quick escape.
The next day, Monica appears to be alive. Wildlife photographers report a body dumped in the wilderness, which is identified as Nishikant. ACP Vyjayanti Naidu begins investigating the murder at Unicorn, while Arvind and Jayant grow wary and suspect Monica. Arvind then receives a venomous snake in the mail, which kills him, and Jayant later gets a similar parcel along with a text showing the contract. Following the instructions, Jayant goes to the roof to retrieve the contract but is suddenly shoved from behind by Gaurav, the friend of Jayant’s sister Shalu. He survives, retrieves the contract, and discovers it’s only a photocopy. Believing Monica is behind the deaths, Jayant confronts her, but his conscience stops him from acting.
Monica, however, claims she did not kill Nishikant or Arvind, nor did she try to murder Jayant, and she seems to have deduced the killer’s identity. Before she can reveal more, she dies from venom in her wine—tinted with the same poison used in the earlier killings. Later, Jayant learns that the internal Unicorn probe had blamed Dev’s death on faulty robot technology, but Satyanarayan had covered it up and fired Faridi. When Jayant and Shalu confront the truth, Faridi confirms that Dev was murdered via a manual override of the robot.
Armed with this new knowledge, Jayant and Shalu head back to the Unicorn factory to check the robot’s login logs, and Jayant discovers that Gaurav killed Dev because he was in love with Shalu. Gaurav attacks with the same robot, confessing to Nishikant and Arvind’s murders but not Monica’s. Nishikant had tried to weaponize Gaurav as his enforcer, and when Nishikant pressed him to kill Monica or expose him to Shalu, Gaurav snapped and eliminated Nishikant. The pair’s escalating purge continues as Jayant fights for his life, ultimately taking control of the robot with his watch and killing Gaurav in self-defense. He tells Shalu and the police that Gaurav was behind the deaths of Dev, Nishikant, Arvind, and Monica. Yet, ACP Naidu hints that Monica’s killer was someone else. In a televised reveal, Naidu states that Monica’s killer was Tamang Rana—the father of her unborn child—and that Tamang killed himself out of guilt after poisoning Monica’s wine.
In the final moments, Jayant retrieves the original contract from Gaurav’s house and burns it, only to be encircled by the snakes Gaurav had stolen. The screen cuts to black, leaving his fate unresolved and the mystery surrounding the intertwined murders hanging in the air.

Night shift tragedy at Unicorn factory
During a night shift, Dev Prakash informs his friend Gaurav that he has proposed to Shalu and she accepted. Soon after, the Unicorn factory's robot malfunctions and kills Dev, turning the incident into a fatal accident. The company closes the case as an accident and safety officer Faridi Baig is fired.
Six months later: Anniversary and power shift
At Unicorn's 50th anniversary, Jayant Arkhedkar is promoted to the board of directors and becomes engaged to Nikki Adhikari. He begins an affair with Monica Machado, who reveals she is pregnant and begins blackmail using photos. The blackmail escalates into a plan tied to the anniversary celebrations.
Monica's blackmail and the hotel plan
Monica hands over the pregnancy to Jayant as leverage, and the trio—Nishikant, Arvind, and Jayant—devise a plan to murder Monica. They sign a contract as a failsafe in case anyone backs out, agreeing on roles: Nishikant kills Monica, Jayant transports the body, and Arvind disposes of it. The plan seems to be on track until a leopard interrupts their attempt in the jungle.
Leopard disrupts the murder attempt
While trying to dump Monica's body in the jungle, the trio are forced to flee after a leopard appears. The plan collapses as fear and circumstances force a retreat rather than completion. The tension between the conspirators deepens as the risk of exposure grows.
Monica alive and Nishikant’s body found; investigation begins
The next day, Monica is revealed to be alive, while Nishikant's body is discovered by wildlife photographers. ACP Naidu launches an investigation into the Unicorn office death, and Arvind and Jayant grow suspicious that Monica was involved. The web of deceit begins to unravel as authorities take a closer look.
Venomous parcels target Arvind and Jayant
Arvind receives a parcel containing a venomous snake that kills him, and Jayant receives a similar parcel but manages to escape. He later receives a text with a photo of their contract, escalating the sense that someone is orchestrating the deaths. The sense of danger closes in around the core conspirators.
Rooftop confrontation over the contract
Jayant goes to the Unicorn factory roof to retrieve the contract as instructed by the text, only to be pushed from behind by Gaurav. He survives and discovers that the contract he holds is only a photocopy, not the original. The rift between Jayant and Gaurav widens as distrust grows.
Confrontation at Monica's house and her death
Jayant visits Monica's house intending to kill her, but his conscience stops him. Monica denies killing Nishikant and Arvind and hints at knowing who the real killer is. Before she can reveal it, she dies from snake venom added to her wine.
Sabotage uncovered: Dev’s death blamed on faulty robot
Later, Jayant learns that the internal investigation blamed Dev’s death on faulty robot technology, but Satyanarayan had covered it up and fired Faridi instead. The truth about the murder is starting to surface, shattering the official narrative.
Gaurav’s role exposed at the factory
Jayant, along with Faridi, visits the Unicorn factory and checks the robot’s manual access logs, revealing that Gaurav killed Dev. Gaurav attacks again with the same robot, and he admits to killing Nishikant and Arvind, though he denies killing Monica. The tangled web of killings begins to clarify.
Nishikant’s manipulation and Monica’s fate clarified
Nishikant had been using Gaurav as a minion after seeing Dev’s murder. When Nishikant pressures Gaurav to kill Monica or be exposed to Shalu, Gaurav snaps and murders Nishikant, then proceeds to 'clean house' including targeting Jayant. The power dynamics behind the killings become clearer, with Gaurav at the center of the violence.
Final showdown: Jayant takes control of the robot
In a climactic showdown, Jayant uses a hidden watch to seize control of the murderous robot and kills Gaurav in self-defense. He tells Shalu and the police that Gaurav was behind Dev, Nishikant, Arvind, and Monica’s murders, attempting to pin more on him. The mystery of the factory murders reaches a critical turning point.
Tamang Rana blamed for Monica’s murder
During a press conference, ACP Naidu reveals Monica’s killer was Tamang Rana, who was the father of her unborn child, and that he killed himself due to guilt. This attribution underscores the broader conspiracy and the complicity of others in the background. The public narrative takes another drastic turn.
Satyanarayan’s paternity revelation at a prayer
During Monica’s prayer ceremony, Naidu reveals that Satyanarayan Adhikari is the actual father of Monica’s child. He explains that Tamang poisoned Monica’s wine to silence her blackmail, and Naidu later murdered Tamang to prevent further exposure. The moral revelations close in on the CEO’s family and leadership.
Final fate: contract burned as snakes close in
Jayant retrieves the original contract from Gaurav’s house and burns it, only to be surrounded by snakes that Gaurav had stolen. The scene cuts to black with Jayant’s fate left unknown, leaving the ultimate outcome unresolved and ominous. The snakes symbolize the lingering danger and the corrupt power at the heart of Unicorn.
