Manu often pleads with his mother, Rema, to let him go home and join reality TV shows, but Viswanathan remains firm.

Meanwhile, a fake sanyasi named Himaval Chithanya Swami opens an ashram in the village. Krishnan Kutty, Viswanathan’s friend, and his wife Santhanavally visit Himaval Swami to seek blessings so they can have a child. Some disciples of Himaval Swami visit Viswanathan to press for a project worth 90 acres, which he recognises as illegal and refuses.

Manu fails his engineering entrance exam, and Viswanathan slaps him, calling him a cheat. An upset Manu leaves home. Two days later, Viswanathan finds Manu working as a waiter in a hotel, unaware that Manu has been taking part in a reality show. Upon Viswanathan’s return, Himaval Swami attacks him for not sanctioning the project. The police intervene as Viswanathan is found in a hospital and he gives a statement, leading to the arrest of Himaval Swami and his followers. A few people led by Krishnan Kutty set the ashram on fire.

Before the final round, Manu and Viswanathan reconcile, and Manu goes on to win the reality show.
