Sajeevan, a kind-hearted and easygoing Soubin Shahir, works as a KSRTC conductor and shares a close bond with his sister, brother-in-law, and nieces. The story begins with a minor conflict involving him and a passenger named Bijimol, played by Namitha Pramod, which gradually deepens into something more meaningful. As their interactions develop, Sajeevan finds himself developing genuine affection for Bijimol, prompting him to visit her family with the hope of marrying her.

Bijimol’s mother, Kunjumol, portrayed by Shanthi Krishna, is an overbearing and loudmouthed woman who exerts control over her household, including her husband Gopi, played by Manoj K U. The marriage proposal is accepted on the condition that Sajeevan will live at Kunjumol’s house, setting the stage for many tensions. Beide mother and daughter, who both share controlling tendencies, create numerous challenges for Sajeevan, stirring conflicts that test his patience and resilience.

As the narrative unfolds, tragedy strikes when Sajeevan suffers a serious accident that requires a kidney transplant. His sister, eager to help, initially prepares to donate her kidney. However, Bijimol, motivated more by her desire to wield control than genuine love, offers her kidney first—despite her mother’s objections. This act signifies her attempt to assert dominance in their relationship, blurring the lines between sacrifice and power.

The plot thickens as misunderstandings arise—particularly when Bijimol suspects Sajeevan of alcohol consumption during his recovery. Feeling betrayed, she confronts him, which escalates into a heated argument. Bijimol slaps Sajeevan’s friend, Vineeth Thattil David, Ramesh, and later, Sajeevan reacts by slapping her after she insults his brother-in-law, Dasan, played by Dileesh Pothan. These escalating conflicts lead Kunjumol to involve the police, demanding that Sajeevan return the kidney he received or pay compensation. They hire an opportunistic lawyer, Advocate Jijo Thattumpuram, portrayed by Dhyan Sreenivasan, who, through exaggerated claims and irrelevant arguments, prolongs the legal battle.

The courtroom scenes intensify until one day when Bijimol suddenly collapses and falls unconscious during proceedings. It is then revealed that she is pregnant, adding a new layer of complexity to the unfolding drama. Kunjumol’s relentless pursuit of her own interests leads her to try to blame Jijo for the pregnancy, further fueling the chaos. Eventually, under collective pressure and genuine concern, Sajeevan, Bijimol, Kunjumol, and Jijo reach an uneasy understanding. They agree to all her conditions but also seek to confirm the truth about the child’s parentage and to confront the destructive rumors spread by Kunjumol.

Amidst these intense moments, a bizarre incident occurs involving the sale of a buffalo, which unexpectedly leads to its attack during a heated argument, causing chaos. Tragically, Kunjumol falls into a well and suffers fatal injuries. The film then advances to a future where Bijimol and Sajeevan have reconciled and are raising a daughter who exhibits signs of being spirited and assertive, hinting at ongoing struggles with her personality as the story concludes.

Throughout the film, themes of control, sacrifice, misunderstanding, and the complexity of relationships are explored with nuance, showing how personal motives and family dynamics intersect to shape lives. The movie ultimately offers a layered reflection on love, power, and the unpredictable twists of fate that influence personal destinies.
