Forced relocation to a high-rise

Sathya's family and their neighbors are moved to a new high-rise apartment by the Government of Tamil Nadu to improve living conditions. The move places them in a modern building with high hopes but unknown risks. The shift drags them into political and contractor corruption that will shape their fate.

Flaws surface in the new building

Within hours of moving in, residents notice shoddy construction and unstable foundations. Crumbling walls, broken doors, and a ceiling that could fail at any moment reveal dangerous structural flaws. The promise of a better life clashes with the reality of an unsafe home.

Eshwari confronts the contractor and councillor

Sathya's mother Eshwari challenges Dhanraj, the contractor, and Paguthi, the local councillor, over the building defects. The confrontation marks growing community anger and a willingness to challenge entrenched corruption. The seeds of a larger fight against malfeasance are sown.

Dhanraj invades Sathya's home and humiliates his sister

A drunken Dhanraj forces open the bathroom door while Raji is inside, unseen by Eshwari at first. Sathya returns home to witness the damage and fear in his sister, fueling his sense of rage. He confronts Dhanraj with a pencil, but Dhanraj and his goons humiliate him and threaten the family.

Suicide attempt and death at the hospital

A guiding voice awakens Sathya

After waking in the hospital, Sathya hears a mysterious voice that speaks like the Maaveeran narrator. The voice offers guidance and helps him decide his next moves, signaling a dramatic transformation. This supernatural influence becomes a crucial catalyst for his actions.

Guided by the voice, Sathya fights corruption

With the voice guiding him, Sathya exposes the apartment's unsafe construction and becomes a local hero among residents. He rallies people to challenge the Housing Minister and demand accountability. The cowardly artist begins to embody the Maaveeran persona publicly.

Paramu exploits the voice for Jeyakodi

Paramu, the minister's secretary, learns of the guiding voice and Sathya's reluctance to fight. He schemes to use it to Jeyakodi's advantage and forces Sathya to reveal the voice on live television. The broadcast frames Sathya as mentally unstable and causes his family to be evicted from the building.

Public fall and a homeless family

Jeyakodi refuses to forgive Sathya and assaults him on screen, while Sathya refuses to fight back. The voice stops, accusing Sathya of betraying his family and the residents for personal gain. Sathya returns home to find his family homeless and heartbroken, deepening his resolve to fight back.

Paramu killed; the sea and the struggle to survive

Paramu is killed by Jeyakodi after advising him to reveal the apartment's collapse and evacuate the dwellers. Jeyakodi orders his henchmen to drown Sathya and Paramu's bodies in the sea. Sathya drowns himself, and the mysterious voice returns to guide him as he fights the henchmen and tries to reach the apartment to warn the residents.
