After dismantling the flesh trade in Noman, Sameer Chaudhary [Vidyut Jammwal] returns to India with his wife Nargis Chaudhary [Shivaleeka Oberoi], who wrestles with depression and PTSD from the harrowing events. One year passes as the couple fights to rebuild a life together, but the road to normalcy proves rocky, even with therapy and medications helping them inch forward. Their struggle is quiet but persistent, underscoring how trauma lingers long after the headlines fade.

Sameer’s best friend Deepak is shattered by tragedy when his brother and sister-in-law are killed in a car crash, leaving five-year-old Nandini [Riddhi Sharma] as the sole survivor. Deepak, unable to shoulder the long-term care herself, places Nandini in an adoption home, hoping for a safe future. To test a possible healing path, Sameer suggests that he and Nargis take Nandini in for a week, giving Nargis a chance to bond with the child while Deepak contemplates the next steps. Initially wary, Nargis opens up through the gentle routines and growing familiarity, guided by a therapist who helps them navigate the new family dynamic.

An unexpected dog bite becomes a catalyst in the unfolding bond. Nargis reacts instinctively to protect Nandini, putting herself at risk but ultimately reinforcing the trust and affection forming between mother and child. In time, the trio grows closer, and the idea of adoption feels more like a shared destiny than a temporary arrangement. The family’s happiness deepens as they commit to formally welcoming Nandini into their lives, a moment that also tests the limits of Nargis’s healing and Sameer’s capacity to support her.

But the contentment is short-lived. Basheshwar “Bacchu” Thakur [Bodhisattva Sharma], grandson of a powerful local matriarch Sheela Thakur [Sheeba Chaddha], pursues a dangerous fixation on Seema, pressing his feelings despite her clear rejection. Seema’s resistance triggers a chain of violence: Bacchu enlists two accomplices, Shailendra Thakur (the driver) [Ishtiyak Khan] and Abhinav, to coerce Seema and, ultimately, attack Nandini. When hope for justice feels blocked by powerful patrons, Sameer and Seema’s families turn to the police, only to find that the FIR is ignored amid Sheela’s influence over the region.

The disappearance of Seema and Nandini sets off a desperate search. A crucial lead comes from an ice-cream vendor [Shivram], who helps connect the dots. Both girls are found injured in a field and rushed to the hospital, where the gravity of the assault and Nandini’s fatal injuries devastates the family. The tragedy shatters the fragile happiness the couple had built, and Nargis withdraws, telling Sameer to seek vengeance—an instruction that fractures their relationship even as the city watches.

Innocence lost awakens a hunger for retribution. Sameer confronts Inspector Tyagi for the police’s failure to act and is imprisoned for sixty days. While behind bars, a tip from Talha Ansari [Danish Husain] reveals that Rashid Qasai [Dibyendu Bhattacharya] has sent Jaiswal and his henchmen to kill Sameer. Talha supplies weapons and confirms the danger, and in a dawn confrontation, Sameer and his allies strike back, killing Jaiswal and his goons with ruthless efficiency.

Back in the hospital, Seema regains consciousness and helps expose the broader conspiracy: Bachchu and his cronies abused Seema and Nandini, while Abhinav’s role in the abuse is laid bare. Sheela attempts to shield Bachchu, pressuring Nargis to stay away from the vengeance plot, even hinting at personal danger. Nargis remains calm and collected, insisting that even if harm comes to Sameer in pursuit of justice, she will survive and endure.

With Khalu’s help, Sameer is released, and the hunt resumes. Khalu explains that Rashid knows where Bachchu and his accomplices are hidden, and the trio—Sameer, Khalu, and Saaharsh (Seema’s brother)—set out to dismantle Bachchu’s network. Shailendra’s confession confirms that Bachchu and Shardul repeatedly abused Seema, while Abhinav was the primary abuser of Nandini. The team pursues Bachchu to the Middle East, where Kamlesh Thakur [Ashwath Bhatt] and Bachchu’s men are cornered in a tense desert pursuit that ends in a brutal car crash.

In the aftermath, Sameer drags Bachchu from a burning vehicle and delivers a brutal finish, while Saaharsh shoots Kamlesh, avenging Nandini’s death and Seema’s assault. Sheela Thakur’s grip on power crumbles as a captive woman, driven to desperation, turns the tables and stabs Sheela to death with her hairpin. Back home, the mood shifts again as Nargis reveals she is pregnant, a beacon of new life amid the violence and grief. The community’s collective praise for Sameer as a leader echoes through the house, and a final, quiet reunion between Sameer and Nandini’s memory underlines a hard-won sense of closure as the couple faces an uncertain but hopeful future together.
