Vikram ‘Vicky’ Rudraraju is a quick-witted cop in the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT), the elite arm of the CID in Telangana. On a separate, tense morning, Preethi, a college student, stalls on the ORR when her car fails. An on‑the‑scene assist from an on‑duty officer, Ibrahim, sets a chain of small, seemingly routine moves in motion: he lends his phone so she can call her father, then departs—with a casual awareness of the danger that often trails such calls. Later, Ibrahim spots Preethi slipping into a blue car, a sight that stirs unease about who might be involved and why. When Mohan reports that Preethi is missing and asserts the blue car isn’t his, the seeds of a complicated investigation are sown. The case pulls in Mohan’s wife Lakshmi and a close family friend, Vishwanath, a powerful figure who also happens to be Vikram’s boss, setting up a clash between loyalty, authority, and the truth.

Two months slip by before Vikram faces a harsher truth: Neha is also missing. The lead on her case has landed with his old rival, Abhilash, who becomes a thorn in Vikram’s side as he argues over jurisdiction and motive. Vikram asks for Vishwanath’s involvement in the new case, but the request is refused, forcing him to pivot into a more self‑directed pursuit. To fill in the gaps, Vikram and his teammate Rohit press Neha’s colleagues, including Shinde, to chart the trail of recent disappearances and to see what patterns may tie Preethi’s case to Neha’s.

The investigation leads them to Preethi’s friends Ajay and Sandya, who reveal the girl’s past: an orphan raised in Saraswati’s orphanage who was eventually adopted by Mohan’s brother Shiva and Shiva’s wife Priya. After a fatal accident took the original carers, Mohan and Lakshmi raised Preethi themselves. A creeping thread appears when Sheela, a neighbor who has faced social ostracism, discovers a note claiming a dead body lies behind a guest house. Vikram’s instinct tells him Sheela is trying to manipulate the narrative, and he presses on to uncover the truth.

The search culminates in the discovery of a decayed, unrecognizable corpse buried in the guest‑house plot, with DNA traces allegedly linking Ajay, Mohan, and Saraswati to the body. The plot thickens when Ajay vanishes, and Vikram discovers the grim fact that Preethi was his girlfriend, and Ajay was left to mourn her death in silence. A crucial call from a woman named Latha—who reports being threatened by a person at the ORR—pushes Vikram toward a new line of inquiry. He tracks the suspect through tollbooths and realizes a single, shared lorry transported the blue car on both days, explaining why the vehicle evaded CCTV capture. The decisive breakthrough points to Fahaad, an acquaintance of Ibrahim, as the driver.

Confrontations unfold at Fahad’s residence. Ibrahim is killed in a confrontation, but Abhilash steps in to help subdue Fahad, who finally confesses to receiving a contract to abduct both Preethi and Neha. Fahad’s admission also ties into a broader plan to abduct Neha for a ransom and to ferry someone else abroad. In a tense exchange, Rohit, Vikram’s amiable ally‑turned‑foil, is found to be the one who has manipulated the situation by misplacing DNA evidence and planting it to derail the investigation—and his wife, Swapna, is central to the web of deception.

In a stunning reversal, Swapna—Rohit’s wife—admits that she orchestrated the diabolical scheme. Her motives are personal and steeped in a bitter backstory: she was raised by Saraswati in the same orphanage and endured heartbreaks that shaped her resentment toward Preethi. Swapna explains how Alekhya, Saraswati’s other ward, died of a heart condition on her birthday after a cruel chain of choices sparked from envy and a desire for control. The confrontation reveals that Swapna’s bitterness flared when Preethi decided to seek a new life at the expense of Alekhya’s future, and this history fuels her violent actions.

As Rohit, now revealed as part of the larger plot, tries to shield his wife and save his own skin, Vikram discovers that Rohit had staged the crime scene by moving the corpse to a location where Sheela had previously manufactured a clue. Rohit’s manipulation is exposed, and the investigators piece together how DNA traces were planted to mislead the case and let the trail go cold. In the end, Vikram uncovers an even deeper personal thread: his sister Sushmita—known to him as Sushmi—was stalked and immolated in front of him, a tragedy that he keeps deliberately private as Neha and he navigate the fragile line between trust and truth.
