Fountain of Youth 2025

Disgraced archeologist Luke Purdue finds himself in a precarious situation after he steals a painting from criminals in Thailand. In a twist of fate, he thwarts the mysterious Esme and her henchmen, who also seek the painting for their own nefarious intentions. Luke’s next move takes him to London, where he surprises his sister, Charlotte Purdue, a museum curator entangled in a messy divorce from her unfaithful husband, Harold. As a bold gesture, Luke steals another painting from Charlotte’s museum, enticing her to escape with him and his partners, Murphy and Deb, while revealing that he has continued their father’s legacy of treasure-seeking.

Charlotte soon finds herself questioned by Interpol’s Inspector Jamal Abbas, resulting in her dismissal from the museum. Confronting Luke at his hideout, she meets Owen Carver, a terminally ill corporate raider who is interested in financing Luke’s quest for the legendary Fountain of Youth. Owen offers Charlotte the chance to reclaim custody of her son with the help of a powerful lawyer, ultimately persuading her to join the treasure hunt. Their late father’s notes indicate a secret society known as the “Protectors of the Path” has hidden the Fountain for centuries. Yet, a splinter group has concealed clues within six historic paintings that Luke has pilfered, including a duplicate of Rembrandt’s Head of Christ from the museum. After some hesitation, Charlotte joins Luke’s daring expedition.

The true painting was lost in the tragic sinking of the Lusitania, prompting the team to recover a section of the ship to locate it. Upon retrieving the artwork from a safe belonging to Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, Luke and Charlotte find themselves held at gunpoint by Esme and her fellow Protectors. However, they manage to escape the sinking wreckage with the prized painting. Back in London, the paintings reveal their next lead directing them to the Wicked Bible, but they soon fall into a trap set by Abbas and are ambushed by Thai gangsters. This provokes an all-out shootout, allowing Luke and his team to flee.

Charlotte’s situation escalates as Harold accepts a job abroad, and she brings their son, Thomas, along to Vienna with Luke and the team. While examining the Wicked Bible at the Austrian National Library, Luke is ambushed once again by Esme, who ominously warns him that the Fountain possesses a terrible power that he does not fully comprehend. Despite the dangers, the team steals the Bible; however, Charlotte decides to prioritize her son’s safety and storms off. Thomas, showcasing his intellect, deduces that the code concealed in the Bible consists of musical notes. This leads them to an ancient melody honoring the Seven Wonders, revealing that the Fountain is likely located in a newly discovered secret passage beneath the Great Pyramid of Giza, a reference to the real ScanPyramids mission.

During this turmoil, Esme consults with the Elder of the Protectors, who implores her to do whatever it takes to safeguard the Fountain from being unearthed for humanity’s sake. In Cairo, Carver and his armed mercenaries secure the pyramid, forcing Luke, Charlotte, and Thomas to unlock its secret passage. However, chaos ensues when Abbas arrives with Interpol agents, only to find themselves vastly outgunned. In the ensuing mayhem, Deb is wounded while she and Murphy attempt to help. The Protectors, led by Esme, overpower Carver’s men, uniting with Abbas as they pursue the others into the passage.

As Luke and the team delve deep into the pyramid, they uncover the elusive Fountain. In a shocking revelation, Charlotte realizes that Carver is not as sick as he claims; instead, he craves to monopolize the Fountain’s power for himself. Carver confronts Luke, shoots him in the arm, and insists he drink from the Fountain to demonstrate its effects. In an unexpected twist, a drop of Luke’s blood enchants the mystical waters, unveiling a vision of eternal life—but at the dire cost of Charlotte and Thomas’s lives. Recognizing the grim curse tied to the Fountain’s power, Luke resolutely refuses to drink, leading to his miraculous healing.

Just as Abbas and Esme reach the mystical chamber, Carver decides to drink from the water, but his selfishness results in him being drained of life force. Seizing the moment, Esme utilizes a key from the Elder to seal the chamber, effectively trapping the quickly aging Carver inside while allowing the rest of the group to escape. Charlotte, recognizing an opportunity, persuades Abbas to hold Carver accountable for their crimes. In a final twist, Esme shares a brief intimate moment with Luke, cautioning him that their paths may cross again should he continue to pursue forbidden treasures. In the end, Luke reunites with his team, while Charlotte and Thomas suggest that a new adventure awaits them.
