Adib Mirza is one of the city’s most influential businessmen and politicians, a formidable force who has built a shield around his only son, Ariyan Mirza. From a young age, Ariyan has been spoiled and unchecked, described by those around him as a growing “monster” who has tasted every vice imaginable—drugs, scandals, and violence—while his father’s protective vigilance keeps him untouchable. The narrative tracks a life steeped in excess, where wild parties and lavish spending on intoxication blur the lines between privilege and peril.

At one of these opulent gatherings, Ariyan’s world expands with the arrival of Nitu Idhika Paul, a woman who will become the fulcrum of the story’s moral tension. He is instantly drawn to her, and his affection quickly turns into relentless pursuit, marked by extravagant gifts and a fierce willingness to retaliate against anyone who harms her. A crucial early incident involves a boy named Prince Manav Sachdev, the son of a friend of Ariyan’s maternal uncle, whom Ariyan humiliates in public after an insult to Nitu. This event draws the attention of Naved Khan Mamunur Rashid, who initially resists pressure to intervene, complicating the family dynamics further.

As the web tightens, Shihab Intekhab Dinar, Ariyan’s maternal uncle, senses that Nitu’s continued presence in Ariyan’s life could jeopardize access to wealth controlled by his brother-in-law, a realization that prompts him to scheme against her. The plan culminates in an attempt on Nitu’s life carried out by Shihab’s henchmen. When Ariyan learns of the attack, he retaliates with lethal force and kills Shihab in a direct act of retribution, underscoring the brutal code of loyalty and revenge that drives the family saga. Throughout these events, MK Boss Iftekhar Shahriar Moyen remains a shadowy reference point, a reminder of the political machinery that sustains power and influence in the city.

The escalating tension shifts as Adib Mirza invites Nitu to bring Ariyan to meet him, believing a reconciliation or separation of the lovers might restore stability. The moment arrives, and Nitu delivers a searing confrontation that uncovers a past wound: the truth about how her family was crushed. She reveals that it was Adib Mirza who helped destroy her father, Sabuj Mia Fazlur Rahman Babu, a poor laborer who was falsely accused and sentenced to death for murder—an accusation that hinged on political maneuvering and corruption. The revelation continues to deepen as Nitu discloses that her sister, Mitu (the character named in relation to Riyaa Ganguly), had once pleaded with Adib to spare their father, but she was compelled to offer sexual favors in return. Even then, Sabuj Mia could not be saved, and Mitu herself would later take her own life.

The emotional shock ripples through the room. Nitu withdraws, and Ariyan, unable to let go, makes increasingly desperate efforts to win her back. He even has his father apologize on his behalf, attempting to mend the broken trust with the woman who has become the most painful symbol of the trauma his family has caused. In a climactic flash, Ariyan storms Naved Khan’s home and kills everyone responsible for framing Sabuj Mia, wielding a micro gun to enforce his own sense of justice. Yet this act does not restore peace; Nitu remains distant, her love for him tested to the brink of despair.

When news of the father’s death reaches the household, Farhan Jisshu Sengupta returns to the country. He informs Ariyan’s circle of what has happened and reveals a plan of his own: to eliminate Ariyan. Farhan engineers a truck accident that leaves Ariyan badly injured and temporarily sidelined. In a stark turn of fate, Farhan then abducts Nitu and, to his own surprise, falls in love with her as he sees the depth of her feelings for Ariyan. He proposes marriage, but Ariyan, still driven by a fierce need for control and vengeance, interrupts the wedding and embarks on a blood-soaked spree. He kills Prince and Farhan and shoots Nitu, who, while dying, expresses a profound—if heartbreaking—confession of love for Ariyan.

As events cascade toward their end, Ariyan makes a stark choice to face the consequences of his actions. He confesses in court that he killed Nitu, accepting the weight of his transgressions and the price they exact on those around him. The legal outcome is swift and severe: the court sentences him to death. The tragedy completes with a devastating counterpoint in Adib Mirza’s life; grief-stricken by his son’s downfall, he takes his own life, unable to bear the cost of the choices that have reshaped his family and city.
