Manny [Donny Pangilinan] is a company heir who hides behind a new identity as a trade union activist, and to keep his cover during a rally against his father Wilfredo Siena [Tirso Cruz III], he pretends to be in a relationship with Ayef [Belle Mariano], a passerby who later works part-time at 24-Ever to fund a dream of becoming an animator in Singapore. In a sudden downpour, Manny lends Ayef his umbrella as she heads to the store, and they part ways with a shared curiosity that neither can ignore. Ayef is introduced not just as a chance encounter but as someone who is determined to pursue her ambition, even while balancing a day job that keeps her dreams within reach.

From there, the story follows their slow-burning connection as they learn more about each other’s worlds. Manny tries to win his father’s approval, even as Wilfredo’s disapproval of Manny’s plant boutique business casts a shadow over their budding romance. The pair discovers they live near each other through social media, and Manny becomes a frequent customer at 24-Ever, where his presence helps Ayef open up about her own life. The weeks that follow see them enjoying each other’s company, even as Manny’s father’s scrutiny intensifies and Ayef successfully interviews for the Singapore internship. Their bond deepens, and they admit they have fallen in love, even as they navigate their separate ambitions.

The pace quickens at a birthday dinner with Manny’s family. Wilfredo’s anger spikes when Ayef reveals she met Manny at the rally, and the scene is complicated by the arrival of Manny’s estranged mother Meryl [Teresa Loyzaga], who confronts the family about Wilfredo’s infidelity with Agnes [Precious Lara Quigaman], Dobs’ mother and Manny’s stepmother. The tensions spill over into the kitchen and dining room, forcing Ayef to confront the realities of Manny’s world. A turning point arrives when Manny witnesses Wilfredo’s abuse toward Dobs and decides to take a stand, leaving with Agnes and Dobs to create a new path for themselves. As the 100-day period draws to a close, Dobs reminds Manny of Ayef’s promise to join him for a drawing session, prompting Manny to seek Ayef one last time. He learns she is on the way to the airport for Singapore, but Terry informs Ayef of Manny’s request. In a final surge of resolve, Ayef races to meet Manny at a rally, and the two choose to make their romance permanent, sending each other off with a clear sense of purpose and the best wishes for Ayef’s journey to Singapore.
