Shark attack erupts on the yacht

While mid-photo shooting on a yacht off Isla Palomino, a shark's dorsal fin appears and the tension thickens. The crew begins photographing the predator, unaware it is closing in. Suddenly, a massive four-headed shark bursts from the sea and devours everyone on board.

Police arrive and investigate

Captain Sterling and Deputy Black board the yacht to search for the missing passengers. They find no survivors and uncover blurry photos of the four-headed shark on the photographer's camera. The discovery confirms the terror and prompts a public warning.

Dr. Angie Yost consulted; pressure to mislead

Sterling and Black seek out marine biologist Dr. Angie Yost for expert input. Thaddeus Marshall pressures her to deny the photos' existence and call it distortion. He intends to use a boat crew to lure and capture the creature for the aquarium exhibit.

Expedition heads out to catch the shark

Yost and her interns join Marshall on the aquarium's boat as they set out to lure and capture the shark. The team succeeds in drawing the creature close, but disaster strikes when Sean is knocked overboard and eaten. The group returns to shore shaken and more determined.

Shark continues feeding on sea life

The shark sinks a small fishing boat and preys on fishermen and divers, showing it will not stop easily. The predator grows bolder, feeding on more victims as the island community watches in fear. The search for a solution intensifies.

Red joins the team to catch the shark

Marshall enlists Red, a local fisherman and former flame of Yost, offering double pay to help hunt the shark. Red agrees and joins Yost's crew for another dangerous chase. They prepare to lure the creature back toward a controllable area.

First major chase; officer killed; Lindsay falls victim

Using sonar, the team lures the shark toward Red's boat. An officer is eaten during the pursuit, and Lindsay is knocked off the vessel and disappears beneath the waves. Red returns to shore and reunites with Sterling and Black.

Playa Aviones attack; dolphin calls plan begins

At Playa Aviones, the five-headed shark appears and disrupts the surfing competition. Yost, Red, and the police decide to use recorded dolphin calls to herd the creature toward a trap and then unleash dynamite. The plan raises the stakes as the creature roams the beach area.

Confrontation with the police boat; Black dies

The team lures the shark to the police boat and uses sonar to draw it in. The five-headed monster attacks the craft's propellers and devours Deputy Black.

Dynamite plan backfires; Cait knocked off; Ram saves her; Marshall harpoons the shark

Red and Yost drop dynamite into the chum-filled water, but the single-headed shark swallows the charge and absorbs the blast, allowing the five-headed predator to continue its rampage. Cait is knocked from the boat and Ram dives in to rescue her. Marshall fires a harpoon into the shark, but the line wraps around his foot and he is pulled into the water, where the creature consumes him.

Rescue request and failed airlift; helicopter destroyed

With no rescue in sight, they radio for an airlift. The helicopter arrives, but the five-headed shark bursts from the water and destroys the craft, sinking it along with the trapped crew.

Final standoff: Red's hook and depth charges; the shark is blown up

Red grabs depth charges and a giant fishing hook, then dives back into the water. He attaches the hook to the shark and uses the charges to blast the creature, forcing it to flee. The five-headed shark is blown up offscreen, ending the immediate threat.
