Ivan Vladimirovich Solovyov is a Russian professional footballer born on 29 March 1993 in Kaluga, Russia. Standing at 1.68 metres tall, he plays as a midfielder and currently represents Dynamo Bryansk. He began his footballing journey in the youth academy of Dynamo Moscow, where he developed his technical skills before transitioning to senior football. His professional debut came on 31 October 2012 when he appeared for the main Dynamo Moscow squad in a 2012–13 Russian Cup match against Khimki, where he notably set up a winning goal in a 2-1 victory. Just days later, on 4 November 2012, Solovyov made his Russian Premier League debut against Krasnodar, and subsequently started his first league match against Alania Vladikavkaz on 10 November 2012. After his contract with Dynamo Moscow expired, he joined Zenit Saint Petersburg on 1 August 2013. During his tenure with Zenit, he was loaned out to several clubs including Amkar Perm, Zenit-2 Saint Petersburg, and Finnish club Lahti, gaining valuable experience across different leagues and competitions. Solovyov achieved a notable honour with Zenit Saint Petersburg, winning the Russian Premier League title in the 2014–15 season. He later played for Fakel Voronezh, Dynamo Saint Petersburg, and Sochi before embarking on a career path that took him abroad to Central Asia, where he represented Uzbek clubs Navbahor Namangan, Nasaf, and Lokomotiv Tashkent. His international career included appearances for the Russia U18, U19, and U21 national teams in 2011 and 2012. More recently, Solovyov has played for Muras United, Bishkek City, and returned to Russia with Dynamo Bryansk, continuing his career as a versatile and experienced midfielder with over a decade of professional football behind him.
