What Is Zombitopia About?
The premise of Zombitopia without spoilers.
After taking in Zidik, who was living on the streets, Hassan raises him as a son and they work together in a junkyard. Both men are haunted by the past, fifteen years after a devastating virus turned people violent. Hassan struggles to remember his deceased wife, while Zidik vividly recalls his sister’s attack, his father’s sacrifice, and even remembers Zooey, a girl he briefly knew at an orphanage. A disgraced scientist, Dr. Rahman, creates a new zombie virus, triggering another outbreak. Zidik confronts a zombified Zooey, who seems to regain fragments of her memory. He is then captured by Dr. Rahman, who discovers Zidik's immunity to the virus.
