Zen for Nothing (2016): Cast & Box Office

Nestled in the mountains of western Japan, the small Zen monastery Antaiji offers a unique experience. A young woman named Sabine Timoteo, from Switzerland, journeys to immerse herself in monastic life through the seasons of autumn, winter, and spring. She encounters the abbot, Muho Noelke, originally from Berlin, and explores the intersection of the teachings of Japanese Zen master Kodo Sawaki and the unexpected moments of daily living.
