Aimro [Admasu Kebede] is a renowned carpenter who shares a wood workshop with six colleagues: Tejo [Mesfin Haileyesus], Solomon [Michael Million], Kecho [Elizabeth Getachew], Teddy [Tewodros Seyoum], Emushu [Wesagneh Hailu], and Zerihun [Zerihun Asmamaw] under their boss, Mr. Ketema. His personal life is shaken when his girlfriend Amy betrays him to pursue another man, and the two plan to travel to the U.S. The couple also arrange their wedding, inviting Aimro and his friends to attend, setting the stage for a mix of festivity and brewing tension.

During the wedding, Aimro and his friends hatch a plan to ruin the ceremony as a form of retaliation, a scheme born from hurt and pride. But in a surprising turn, he encounters Helina [Rekik Teshome] with her friend Martha, and what follows reshapes his path. Aimro fabricates a story, presenting himself as a famous carpenter who has recently returned from the U.S., and he pretends to speak fluent English. This deception leads to a burgeoning romance between Aimro and Helina.

As the relationships unfold, Aimro and his friends form a men’s association that initially centers on sharing experiences and jokes about sexual adventures, but it also becomes a vehicle to spy on Helina and Martha. Aimro attempts to pursue Helina, yet both parties decide to pause after his friends capture their intimate moment on a phone, only for the device to shut down before they can share the ending. The next day, Aimro faces his friends and relays the story, claiming he did not kiss Helina, a denial that delivers a sting of disappointment to the group.

Helina and Martha begin maneuvering against the men, with Aimro in their sights. Strapped for cash, Aimro buys a bracelet for Helina, trying to present it as a costly, luxurious gift, while Tejo quietly considers taking something from her without Aimro’s knowledge. The couple soon discovers the bracelet is counterfeit, and Helina and Martha begin to see through the deception.

Seeking revenge, Helina invites Aimro to a hotel and uses the encounter to pressure him, deliberately causing damage to property—smashing a mirror and a beer bottle—to test whether he will shoulder the costs. Helina’s nagging intensifies, and eventually she reveals she knows the bracelet was counterfeit and that he has been lying from the start, leading her to end the relationship.

Distraught, Aimro contemplates leaving his job, but his boss persuades him to stay. In a later twist, Helina consults Mr. Ketema and selects Aimro to design the furniture inside her bedroom. As the process unfolds, she attempts to coax a bonus payment from Aimro, who refuses and leaves. Enraged, Helina, along with Martha, follows Aimro to his workplace, where she confronts Mr. Ketema. Helina begins to wreak havoc—smashing doors and attacking Aimro’s friends—before she finally faces Aimro in the warehouse. She asks for forgiveness, and in a climactic moment, as she seizes a piece of furniture to throw, they embrace, and Aimro’s friends celebrate with singing, recognizing a complex bond that has grown out of conflict into reluctant affection.
