Shiva, Sundeep Kishan, is a college student whose exam hits a snag when his pen runs dry. The girl next to him, Sindhya Dimple Chopade, lends him a fresh pen and he instantly falls for her, beginning to shadow her around campus. They join an educational tour with Sindhya, Vasanth [Jagan], and Priya [Sneha Ramesh] (Vasanth’s lover). Eventually, Sindhya also falls for Shiva. She clinches the top rank and a scholarship to the US. Before she leaves, Sindhya invites Shiva to breakfast at her house while her family is out. At her house, the two share a private moment, and Sindhya heads to the US. She returns three months later, claiming she has something personal to tell him. She announces she is pregnant, thinking no one is home. Shiva’s parents overhear and scold them.

Fast forward a few years: Shiva and Sindhya are husband and wife and have a child. Sindhya works; Shiva is an unemployed husband at home caring for the child. Sindhya’s brother Randy, Srinath, a psychiatrist, tries to help by staging a plan to help Shiva discover his own interests. The scheme has Shiva overhearing Sindhya speaking to a man named Mahesh, who is actually Randy, making Shiva suspect the child is not his. Sindhya and Randy want Shiva to overhear them. Shiva starts gathering information from the library, aided by Vasanth [Jagan]. The climax arrives as he pieces together the truth, accuses Sindhya, and even threatens the child. His family and Randy explain what happened. He rewrites the test and passes. The film ends with Shiva finding a job, while Randy continues to nudge him about whether he is truly back to his old self.
