Set among Yorkshire moors in the early 19th century, the Earnshaws adopt orphan Heathcliff, whom Hindley despises while he bonds with Hindley’s sister Catherine. After their parents die, Catherine and Heathcliff live wildly together, but Catherine’s attraction to the wealthy Edgar Linton ignites a tragic rivalry that fuels hatred and revenge.
