What Is Womb About?

Rebecca returns to her childhood home and reconnects with Tommy, now a university student, reigniting a past relationship. Their renewed passion is tragically cut short when Tommy dies in an accident, leaving Rebecca devastated. Unable to let go, she seeks an unconventional and experimental procedure offered by the Department of Genetic Replication, attempting to grow a new Tommy within her, challenging conventional notions of love, loss, and creation.

As children, Rebecca and Tommy share a whimsical, fairy-tale romance. Life takes a tragic turn when they are separated for many years, only to reunite as adults. Their rekindled love, however, is abruptly cut short when a tragic car accident claims Tommy’s life. Heartbroken and overwhelmed, Rebecca believes she cannot continue without him. In her desperate longing, she decides to bear a clone of Tommy, hoping to reclaim the joyous moments they once shared.
