Ellis and his Grandmother live in a puzzling, almost otherworldly sink-hole where floating rocks drift by and the detritus of old machines and abandoned items litter the space. From this unlikely home, they carve out a simple life, growing potatoes as their main sustenance and making do with the scavenged odds and ends that wash into their world. The mood is quiet and patient, driven by a shared will to endure and dream beyond the limits of their strange subterranean world.
