A Hong Kong teen from a fishing‑village wins a trip to Japan, setting off a chain of events that carries him to bustling Tokyo. Along the way he befriends a hapless tour guide and a gender‑fluid pickpocket. Back home, he and his counterfeit‑making family discover that a ruthless Japanese developer’s multinational conglomerate has targeted their village, intent on bulldozing it to build a new global trade hub.
