What Is Welcome About?
The premise of Welcome without spoilers.
Bilal, a determined 17-year-old Kurdish refugee, continues his difficult journey to be reunited with his family in England. Facing yet another obstacle, he makes the daring decision to swim across the English Channel. Along the way, he encounters Simon, a middle-aged swimming instructor struggling with his own personal challenges. Simon agrees to mentor Bilal, hoping to find redemption and a renewed sense of purpose through the connection.
