War of the Buttons 2012
During World War II in occupied France, a group of young boys engage in a fierce rivalry between neighboring villages. Led by Lebrac, their games escalate into a daring battle, but the conflict takes a serious turn when he falls for Violette, a Jewish girl living in hiding. The children must then set aside their differences to protect her from danger and confront the harsh realities of war and the increasing threat it poses to their community.
