Bhoomi Ritu Varma runs an eco-friendly start-up in Hyderabad, dedicated to promoting sustainable living. Her mother, Prabhavati Nadhiya, is eager for Bhoomi to settle down and find a suitable groom, but Bhoomi is hesitant to marry. Into this family dynamic arrives Aakash Naga Shaurya, a successful architect who has spent time in Paris and decides to return to India in search of a life partner.

The owner of Bhoomi’s startup is connected to Aakash’s circle, and the two meet at his house. After a few encounters, Aakash is quietly drawn to Bhoomi, yet she keeps her distance. He even takes on a project connected to the work Bhoomi leads, which brings them into closer professional and personal contact. Meanwhile, at Bhoomi’s office, a separate love story is tested when the girl, an orphan, must navigate pressure from the boy’s family to marry into a wealthier clan. Aakash steps in, persuading the boy’s parents to accept the girl, and Bhoomi starts to appreciate his thoughtful influence.

Another moment strengthens their bond when Aakash helps catch a thief who steals Prabhavati’s purse, and their conversations begin to reveal deeper feelings. Unbeknownst to them, Bhoomi’s mother has been shaping a path toward marriage for Bhoomi, yet Aakash’s presence complicates and enriches Bhoomi’s understanding of love and independence. At this point, Bhoomi recalls a college memory: Aakash saved her from trouble with rogue students, and she later lost a watch gifted by her father; he returned it, which tied their past to their present. Bhoomi was on the cusp of proposing on the last day of college, but she overheard him telling a classmate that love can be an obstacle to growth, which left her torn. She realizes that her current lifestyle—driven by Aakash’s tastes—has kept her connected to him: the moment Aakash expressed his affection, she began changing herself, even to the point of wearing sarees at the office because that was his preferred look.

A cameo by Rohini as Aakash’s mother also appears, lending a familiar warmth to the evolving relationship and reminding both of the families’ intertwined stakes. Prabhavati, sensing Bhoomi’s uncertainty, nudges her toward a possible match with a more traditional route, suggesting that she could still find a suitable groom if she desires.

To slow down the emotional turbulence, Bhoomi and Aakash travel to Araku to coordinate marriage preparations for the startup’s staff. Bhoomi remains reticent, not giving Aakash a chance to voice his side, while Prabhavati accompanies them and contemplates the path forward for her daughter. Before they return, Aakash confronts Bhoomi and explains that he had learned of her love through a college roommate he happened to meet in Paris, which deepens his own resolve to pursue her in India.

Despite the complications, he returns with renewed courage, and Bhoomi ultimately receives the chance she hesitates to take. She is drawn back toward him and unexpectedly agrees to move forward with love rather than tradition, though the tension of parental expectations remains a quiet, persistent undertone.

On the day of Bhoomi’s engagement, she is stunned to see Aakash waiting, summoned by Prabhavati.
