Spoilers ahead
In a city alive with rhythm and color, Art, an elderly man, keeps to his quiet apartment, grumpily watching the world drift by on the screen. His wife, Dot, comes home determined to coax him outside to enjoy the day, but he blocks the doorway with a stubborn ease, and her attempt lands with a quiet ache in her heart. The moment lingers in the air until Art gazes at a photo of himself and Dot in their younger, brighter days, and a ripple of regret makes the room feel thinner around him. He steps out onto the fire escape, where a sudden downpour begins to fall, and something about the rain seems to peel back the years, offering him a fleeting taste of youth.
