What Is Under the Mountain About?

While on a summer visit to their aunt and uncle in Auckland, teenage twins Rachel and Theo encounter Mr. Jones, the man who rescued them from the woods eight years earlier. Jones reveals he is an alien warrior seeking the twins’ aid against a family of eight gigantic slug‑like alien invaders led by Mr. Wilberforce, who intend to dominate Earth.
