Kazuhiko, a pale‑looking man, is interrogated after a young woman is found brutally murdered. He recounts the day two sisters, Akiko and Mayuko, moved into the house opposite his. Their relationship lasts until the sisters abruptly pack up and leave, revealing a secret to Kazuhiko that may explain the murder—or perhaps he is the one who committed it.
