On a crowded Chennai-to-Coimbatore train, Vijayraghavan Chari, known as Raghava, travels under the alias Abu Bakr, with Jai Sampath in the role. Nearby, Vishnu Priya Iyengar, who adopts the name Ayesha for a project, accompanies him, portrayed by [Nazriya Nazim Fahadh]. The two strangers share a quiet, guarded connection as they navigate their disguises and the sense that something genuine might be forming between them.

Raghava helps Vishnupriya fend off a stalker, and what begins as a practical partnership soon deepens into affection. They find themselves drawn to each other despite the layers of deception, and a tender romance develops as they grow more comfortable in each other’s company. Back in Chennai, they start to learn more about one another, but the weight of their assumed identities creates confusion: they each wonder if the other is truly the person they appear to be, and Priya’s conscience grows heavy with guilt.

Vishnupriya, tormented by the lie, asks Raghava to keep his distance. In a bid to understand and perhaps bridge the gap between faith and love, Raghava seeks guidance from an Unani doctor named Showkhat Ali. It’s through this encounter that the doctor’s daughter, Nazeema, played by [Hebah Patel], falls for Raghava, mistaking him for Abu. The situation grows more complex as Nazeema’s affection invites a new set of emotional tensions and loyalties into the mix.

On the day of Ramzan, Vishnupriya finally confesses her love to Raghava, and the two begin a relationship with renewed hope. Yet the moment they reveal their true identities, the sense of inevitability returns: they realize their feelings have been real, but their paths and names complicate the path to union. Both families, eager to secure a match, arrange their marriage, but the revelation that they are not who everyone believes them to be casts a heavy shadow over those plans. The couple decides that their true love might belong to their Muslim counterparts, and on the day of their arranged wedding, they part ways, choosing distance over a life built on false premises.

Meanwhile, Nazeema learns that Raghava’s marriage is a complication she hadn’t anticipated, and her cousin Ashraff schemes for revenge. As fate would have it, Raghava and Vishnupriya end up attending Vishnupriya’s friend Aayisha’s wedding, where old feelings resurface and the tension between concealed identities and genuine emotion intensifies. A brawl erupts outside the venue as Ashraff and his group confront Raghava, leaving him battered and shaken. Nazeema intervenes, admitting she had been mistaken about the situation and that she bears responsibility for the ensuing conflict rather than him.

Witnessing the commotion, Vishnupriya realizes the depth of her own feelings and rushes to Raghava’s side. In that moment, the veil of deception dissolves, and the couple acknowledges the love that has endured beyond their disguises. The story closes on a hopeful note as they come together once more and choose to seal their bond in marriage, embracing a future built on truth, forgiveness, and the power of true love.
