What Is The Moonstone About?
The premise of The Moonstone without spoilers.
Greg Wise and Keeley Hawes headline this adaptation of Wilkie Collins’s detective novel. The Hindu diamond, the Moonstone, is stolen from a shrine by John Herncastle in 1799 and is said to be cursed. In 1848 Franklin Blake gives the stone to Rachel as a gift, but it vanishes the next morning. Rachel accuses Blake, who then seeks the real thief.
