Nora and Alec, a couple from Los Angeles, find themselves adrift on a quiet, winding road through the countryside. Their attempt to press on after a stop at a deserted rest area is tempered by a tense encounter with a rude woman whose car has broken down, and a uneasy stop at a dimly lit diner where a wary warning hints that Nora isn’t safe there. Yet a spark of determination resurfaces when she discovers that Alec is alive, albeit injured. With a renewed sense of purpose, she and Alec manage to slip out of the barn, moving carefully through the sprawling grounds and shielding themselves from masked workers who roam the property in search of new prey.

In a heartbreaking turn, Alec is drawn into a trap and killed, leaving Nora to carry on alone. She frees another captive named Ashley and searches for a way off the property, a plan that centers on a lurking chance—an old bus that might serve as their escape route. Nora retrieves the keys and boards the vehicle, only to realize that the masked farm members are already inside, waiting for them.

The final scene tightens into a chilling tableau: the commune gathers around a table, and Nora and Ashley are positioned as the main course.
