What Is The Captive About?
The premise of The Captive without spoilers.
Set during the Balkan Wars in Montenegro, Sonia must run the family farm and care for her brother Milos after her older brother Marko dies in battle. A captured Turkish noble, Mahmud Hassan, is assigned to assist her; their cold initial rapport soon turns to love. Together they confront harsh wartime obstacles in pursuit of a hopeful future.
