The Boys 2022
In 1999 a robbery‑murder at a small Samnye supermarket leads police to quickly accuse three local boys, imprisoning them despite their innocence. Veteran detective Hwang Joon‑cheol, now head of the Crime Investigation Division, receives a tip about the real culprits and reopens the case. His investigation is blocked by the original detective Choi Woo‑sung, resulting in Hwang’s demotion. Sixteen years later the victim’s daughter, Yoon Mi‑sook, and the exonerated boys return to Hwang, demanding he finally uncover the true perpetrators and achieve justice.
