What Is The Arrow About?
The premise of The Arrow without spoilers.
The film follows the engineers building the Avro Arrow, a cutting‑edge jet interceptor meant to protect Canada’s airspace during the Cold War. Though brilliant, cost overruns, U.S. military‑industrial pressure and the election of John Diefenbaker’s Conservative government caused the program’s abrupt cancellation as the aircraft was about to fly.
